A Farmstream Camera can be powered via a 12V Leisure Battery and a set of battery connection leads are required for this setup. These are available to purchase via the Farmstream website.
For a Farmstream Static Camera we recommend a minimum of 65Ah battery and for the Farmstream 360 Degree Camera we recommend a minimum of 85Ah. Using a larger battery, such as 100Ah plus, is fine and this will offer a longer running time between charges.
Typically, a 360 camera will last for a week on a new 85Ah battery. This will vary depending on camera usage, for example if recording all the time, time between charges will be significantly less. Also, external factors such as cold weather and shorter daylight hours - as infrared night vision has a high power consumption - will reduce time between charges.
