Farmstream offer two types of Solar Kit, the Farmstream Solar Kit and the 115W Solar Kit and these are both designed to specifically power one 360 Degree Camera all year round. 


The Farmstream Solar Kit is simple to setup, fully IP66 rated and a slightly higher spec in comparison to the 115W Solar Kit, with detailed comparisons below.

The Farmstream Solar Kit is also available as a Farmstream Solar Kit bundle, including a 4G 360 Camera and all required accessories for getting the camera up, running and recording day and night.

The 115W Solar Kit is designed for mounting to a roof however, it is not fully IP66 rated. The charge controller and voltage regulator need to be under cover or placed in an IP66 rated box. There is also more involved in the setup, with full instructions and a wiring diagram included with the kit.

  • 65Ah 12V Leisure Battery
  • Mount to roof
  • Charge controller and voltage regulators not IP66 rated (recommend placing indoors or on IP66 rated box)


It is also possible to power your camera via your own DIY Solar Setup. For this, we recommend a minimum 115W Solar Panel, 65Ah 12V Leisure Battery and charge controller. The input voltage tolerance for a Farmstream Camera is 10-12V. 


Please note, we can only offer limited support to customers using their own Solar Kit setups as we only specialise in our own Solar Kit configurations and are not familiar with other brands.
